Drop-in figure drawing workshop
Great models, relaxed friendly atmosphere and plenty of space to
spread out. Drawing horses, drawing boards, large work tables and
easels available. Brush up on your drawing skills or explore new
techniques. Everyone is welcome, no previous experience necessary. The
focus of these drawing sessions is on gesture and short poses.
The studio is located in The Old Sears Building, an artist studio
complex in the mission district. Easy parking, close to BART and MUNI.
Tuesday evenings, 7-10pm. $15 per session

Classes are held
every Friday night from
6:00 to 8:30P.M. ,
JAN. - DEC., 2012
in Studio D
at the Mission Cultural Center for Latino
Arts,
2868 Mission Street
(between 24 St. & 25St.),
San Francisco, CA .94110.
Convenient to 24th Street BART exit.
Bring your own drawing pad and drawing materials.
Cost is $8.00 at the ticket booth.
Life drawing is for beginners to experienced artists who want to sharpen their abilities to see and draw.
The session is an ongoing and drop-in class.
Each of our models provides challenging and creative poses. The drawing session begins with
one- minute and two min. gesture poses .
A break to view work and stretch.
Next five min. and ten min. poses.
A break; an opportunity to see some work .The remaining poses are twenty-minute poses.
While students generally direct their own exploration of drawing; the teacher provides advice upon request.
